A Little bit about THE AUTHOR
God began speaking to Alissa as her children were entering the pre-teen years about the attack on the identity of His people. Starting at a young age, society tries to “help” predetermine how children look at themselves, their beliefs, causing them to question who they are and their place in society. Yet the Word, which holds the only truth, already affirms that each one of us is uniquely created and named by our Creator.
We are designed to worship Him, and He calls us by name: beloved, heir, daughter of the king, loved, chosen, victorious, and courageous. We live in the world, but as women of God, not belong to the world. Daughters of the King need to stand firm that we have been set apart to be used for His Kingdom. This book was born out of an obedience to the Lord to point women back to their heavenly father, to not just know, but live into who Jesus says they are (identity). The outpouring of rediscovering our identity in Jesus results in the fullness of walking in His calling on our lives, using the gifts he’s given us in the season we’re in.
Alissa has been married to the love of her life for 20 years. They have two teenagers, Katelyn and Brayden, and the cutest Cavapoo you’ll ever meet. They reside between Southern California and Franklin, TN, and like to refer to themselves as a little bit city and a lil bit country.

Alissa is the author of the life and style blog, Little Bit City, ‘Lil Bit Country, which was founded in 2007, where she discusses balancing family, faith, and everything in between. By 2010, she began partnering with brands to create content on her blog for her audience. Realizing she could be a translator between influencers like herself and brands/marketers, she launched Pollinate Media group in 2012, creating brand ambassador programs for large companies such as, Cost Plus World Market, Land of Nod and other similar brands. Pollinate Media Group became a leader in the influencer marketing space, known for being a top matchmaker between industry leading brands and top digital influencers and publishers. For over 10 years, Alissa has helped hundreds of brands achieve their goals by producing successful social media marketing campaigns with evergreen content still found in top search engines today. She has also coached thousands of women, helping them build their own small business, grow their blogs and expand their social influence.
Alissa is the founder and CEO of Be Together Co., a movement of women focused on Biblical conversation,captivating content, community, cultivating faith, courageous living and changing lives. She is a Bible study teacher, speaker and has written multiple women’s small group curriculums for her church. She also has written two five day devotionals on the awe and wonder of God and identity, soon to be available on the YouVersion app. Alissa’s greatest passion is seeing women rediscover their identity in Jesus and walk in the fullness of His calling on their lives.
